Rosneft posted a net loss in the first half of 2020 as a result of lower oil and product prices and production as a result of the outbreak, Dow Jones said Thursday. The Russian oil and Gas Company said it had a net loss of 64.68 billion rubles ($854.9 million) in the six months to June 30, compared with a net profit of 330.5 billion rubles in the first half of 2019. First-half sales fell 33 per cent to RS2,650 BN, lukoil said. The company said sales dynamics during the period had been affected by lower hydrocarbon prices, hydrocarbon production, oil and refined oil trading volumes and reduced sales of refined products at petrol stations. These losses were offset in part by the depreciation of the rouble against the dollar.
